I make dances that tell stories about people

These are my creative principles:

I shape pieces that prioritize storytelling, improvisation, emotional attunement, and risk taking.

I facilitate an environment of empathy, compassion and witnessing in which artists feel empowered to bring their full history and identity to the work.  

I hold a deep commitment to addressing social inequities within the dance field and facilitate justice-oriented creative processes that resemble the society we hope to create.
